Dogs allowed in bar area. Plenty of space. Nice outside area on decking. Lots of tables on grass & space to walk the dog too. Free parking. Good choice of food including a couple of veggie dishes & some vegan choice. Plant burger delicious. Do not like the vegan cheese though!! 😊

Very good early evening meal with family, plenty of available seating, dog friendly which is one of the main reasons to go here. Doors was top notch as well.

Excellent experience and food. Staff were very patient with us, especially as we had seven children in total between the ages of 1 and 7!

We had our company Christmas party on 9th December 2023. We were a group for 34 people. All the food arrived at the tables piping hot, delicious and all served at the same time. The staff were fantastic and nothing seems to be too much bother for them. Nice atmosphere will plenty for space in between table. We all had a great evening, and I will be booking up for next year. Thank you to all at Worlplesdon Place.

Food was lovely but nothing was warm, unfortunately ( we were in a group of 12), everything was rather slow. Beautiful building. We were in a room with a group of 5 and 10 and unfortunately made conversation very hard to hear. Also over charged for a 13 person , refused to move on it , wouldn't let us drop the discretionary charge that would have fixed the issue.

The food was lovely. The staff, although helpful, need a little more training. The venue is lovely. We sat in the sun and had a very nice meal.

Enjoyed a delicious meal here recently along with friends. Menu is varied and food cooked and presented well. I thought dishes were good value for money too. We were sat inside just off of the main bar and we had the room to ourselves. We were told there was going to be a private party next door within the hour and we could be moved if we wanted. We declined as it was no problem to us listening to the DJ and provided some background music which we really didn’t mind at all. The only small negative that I can give which doesn’t even need mentioning really was that we were asked if we wanted any sauces and we we asked for tomato ketchup but this was never brought to the table. In the end we didn’t need it so didn’t say anything. The meal and everything was fantastic and I would definitely recommend to others and would visit again.

We stayed for one night. The room was lovely. Breakfast was very nice. The building itself is nice but didn't read up on the history.

Sadly it was raining the day we visited it. The grounds are lovely with a big lake, child friendly and plenty of parking. I stayed in this hotel 2 years ago, the rooms we had were big and extremely comfortable. The food is v good with helpful staff. There is the choice of an informal bar with some great secluded seating spots , (you never sit too near to other diners), or a more formal dining area. Certainly somewhere to return to.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are well priced especially for the amazing quality along with the good portions. I would highly recommend going for a nice meal as a treat. I've been a few times and haven't been disappointed.
