My son hasn’t started his lessons yet but judging by how accommodating and efficient Gaby has been at helping me get him some lessons in place for next week, I know already he is in safe hands!

Absolutely amazing with baby's first swimming lesson! Gaby had such a connection with my grandchild. Would definitely recommend Rubba Duckies for a baby!

Instructor was great and the session was fun, with nursery rhymes. My 11 weeks baby seemed to enjoyed it. The only thing was there weren't enough changing stations set up it was a bit disorganised and a matter of first come first serve otherwise it's changing baby on the floor. It would be good to have a few more changing stations or even mats.

Delighted with the lessons my 5 year old is receiving! Staff are friendly, encouraging and supportive, and most importantly, in the pool with the children. We were seeing no improvement at our previous swim school and are very happy we decided to move to RubbaDuckies. My son finally enjoys his swimming lessons!

Rosie has been swimming here for over 4 years and it’s some of the best money we’ve ever spent. She adores Gaby and Lauren, they are both excellent teachers (as are the other teachers she’s had on occasion.) At 4 years old, Rosie is able to confidently swim up and down the pool and it’s all down to the great teaching she’s received.

We are so happy to have found Rubba Duckies. Our sons needed to get their confidence back, following lack of swimming after lockdown. After 1 session of the 6 week class- they were kids transformed, so confident and happy in the water. Megan, who teaches has been wonderful, she's happy to hold children and has lots of tricks to make them feel comfortable. We've always been made to feel so welcome and instantly part of the swim school. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Gaby and the team are fantastic! The lessons are very small and really tailored to the individual children and their skills. I have been taking my daughter to Rubba Duckies since she was a tiny newborn and now she's 5 and still absolutely loves her lessons. Highly recommended!

So impressed after our first lesson. My toddler had a bad experience at the previous swim school. This was all forgotten almost as soon as he was in the pool with the Rubba Duckies, he had an absolute blast and couldn’t wait to go back next week.

The support my son has had from the entire team at Rubba Duckies has been incredible. When he first started, my son was nervous of the water. 6 months in, he's confident and can swim nearly a length. The pool is heated, and there is plenty of spaces for adults to sit and watch their children learn. 10/10

Gabby and Maurice are great teachers, a great place to teach kids to swim. The only issue are the roads to their home, essentially impassable unless you drive a SUV or 4x4 (worse in winter). There is a path through from Wood Street Village side, however can be difficult to walk through the last section when it's been raining.
